We’d thought that April might have decent enough weather to do a session outside, but the weather’s been bananas all year. The particular weekend we were looking at was way too cold to take a baby out in, so I pitched the idea of doing an in-home session instead. I’m glad they were up for it, in part because I think getting photos in your home is great, and in part because their home is near a killer brunch place (Spoonwood Brewery, if you’re planning your own Bethel Park family session). I get to hang out with a cute baby AND get mimosas and breakfast pizza? Hell yeah.
Miss Elena prefers to be upside down.
There’s a baby in here!
I think it’s super interesting all the different ways that babies learn to crawl. For the longest time, our guy could only crawl backwards. Elena went with a swim maneuver.
No matter how many toys you buy your kid, they will love the remote the most.
How big are you? So big!
Who’s the weirdo with the big camera, dad?
We got you something, it’s kisses. Surprise!
She really likes mama’s singing (which, same. Mama’s a good singer).
